What Do Your Actions Speak?

Yesterday, we asked the question 'Is Jesus Lord of Your Life', and our prayer is that you can say yes. If you are not sure, you can make Him Lord of your life by completely surrendering to Him, and follow Him. One way to know for sure is your faith in action. How can I say this? Because faith is an action word. Your actions will speak what you believe. People talk a good talk, but it's their actions that will speak the loudest. James 2:14-17 says, 'What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.' What action have you taken that would be evidence to show that Jesus is Lord of your life? Do you follow what the Word says? Do we attend church to be seen, or do we go to gather together and worship God as one body? Do we live each day to the fullest desiring to be a witness to others of the great things Jesus has done for us; or do we cower in fear, afraid of being laughed at or mocked? What are our convictions? What do we truly believe? Trust me; everyone knows what you believe, what you love, who you serve, all by your actions. 1 John 5:1-2 says 'Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.' Faith is an action word. What do your actions speak?
