This week, we discussed being dedicated and consecrated; and how the fields are ripe and ready to be harvested. We also discussed how we need to look at what is being taught. Is it the Word of God, or the traditions of men, which make the Word of God of no effect (Mark 7:13)? Then on Friday, we discussed that we need to be bold! Be bold in your belief in the Word of God and who you are in Christ. This world has nothing to offer, but the Lord God gave us everything through Jesus Christ! Jesus is our everything! Praise God for the boldness of Jesus and how He taught His disciples to trust in the Word of God and how much that the Father loved them! Jesus taught them that whatever the Father said can and will take place. His Word is final and we need to have the faith to do exactly what the Word says, and not follow some religious doctrine that don't amount to a hill of beans! Acts 4:12 says 'Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.' It's all about Jesus! Period! If you are not attending a Bible believing, Bible teaching, Holy Ghost filled and led church then bless God ask the Lord to show you where to go! Get in the Word of God daily and ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to the truth of the Word and watch the changes take effect. The Word changes you from the inside out. It's what comes out your mouth, not what goes in your belly that defiles a man (Matthew 15:11). Remember this; whatever you allow in will eventually come out. The Word tells us that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). Squeeze a sponge. Whatever the sponge has soaked up will come out of it. So, whenever you are squeezed, what comes out your mouth? It's easy to confess when the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the flowers are blooming and the grass is green. Everyone says 'Praise the Lord!' But, what about when you get the report from the doctor you weren't expecting? What about that child that just got sick and the doctor says there is no hope? What about that man that just lost his job and his family was counting on him? What then? Will there be praises coming forth from their mouth? There should be! What about Paul and Silas? They wrote their best song in prison! You can find the story in Acts 16:16-34. The Word of God works and it is not based on what you see or how you feel. It works and we need to be working the Word. It's called growth, and praise God, we all need to grow in Jesus!
