Weekly Reflection

As I've started to study on the fruit of the Spirit, it has caused me to look at myself very closely, and therefore, judge my heart. I really need to be more aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit, and take notice of the needs of others. It's how the Word works, and the message is for the messenger first. The Word tells us in 2 Timothy 2:6 'The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops.' I praise God that He has given me the opportunity to do these blogs. It's because of the studying that I have been able to learn more about myself and the things that need to change. It's why I do this ministry. To teach what the Word says but apply it to my own life as well. How can I teach something that I have never experienced? It's all about what the Word says, but it must be sound doctrine; and doctrine means teaching. What have you been taught? Do you attend a church that believes that the Word of God is infallible, or do they teach 'church' doctrine? Galatians 1:8 says 'But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you that what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.' I pray that everything I do brings glory to the Lord Jesus Christ! I refuse to compromise the Word of the living God, and I will only speak what the Holy Spirit gives me to speak. I pray that the fruit of the Spirit is evident in my life, and that there may be something I say or do that will draw attention to Jesus. I pray that these have been a blessing to each and every person that has read them, and I pray that you will continue to partake of the Word of God that is being shared. As Jesus said in Luke 2:49, 'I must be about My Father's business.' We will continue with the remaining fruit of the Spirit next week. Thank you to each one who has signed up to receive these. It's an honor for me to share the Word of God with you. Be blessed!
