Weekly Reflection

We started this week discussing that if we desire for our land to be healed from all this nastiness and hatred that has been taking place, then the people who are called by the name of the Lord need to humble themselves, pray, seek God's face and turn from their wicked ways. This is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14. God told us that if we would do this, then He would hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land. We also learned that Jesus is the Bread of life. He is our salvation and we can be cleansed from all unrighteousness through His redeeming blood. The enemy wants to destroy us, but Jesus said in John 10:10 that He came to give us life, and that more abundantly. Without Jesus, there is no hope. Without Jesus, there is no redemption. Without Jesus, there is no life. Jesus came because of the love of the Father, and of His own love for us. He gave Himself willingly so our relationship could be restored to the Father. Romans 5:8 says 'But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.' Praise the Lord for the love of the Father. Praise the Lord for the love of Jesus. We must thank God for all He has done. Because of Jesus, we are forgiven. We need to tell the Lord just how much we love Him. Seek His face in prayer and thank Him that He hears every word that we speak. Have you ever gone to the Lord and just thank Him? Do you ever tell Him that you love Him? He is our Father and He loves to hear our voice. Give the Lord thanks for all He has done and pray for Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray that the Lord will continue to watch over them and keep them safe, and that all their enemies will fail in every attempt to do them harm.
