Weekly Reflection

We started this week talking about being called into fellowship with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus came and redeemed us, and because He saved us, it reconciled us back to the Father. Because of this relationship, we then could fellowship with the Father and our Lord Jesus. Isn't that wonderful to know that we are called into the fellowship, which means we are partners with Christ, and we get to be partakers of the divine nature of God the Father. Praise the Lord! Then, we starting talking about how we need the Holy Spirit. There is so much to teach about the Holy Spirit. I also did a short video explaining even more of why we need the Holy Spirit, because He will guide us into all truth and show us things to come. In this reflection, I will give you the following verses from the AMPC edition. John 14:16-17;26 says 'And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever - the Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you. (v26) But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.' The Holy Spirit will direct every aspect of our lives, if we will allow Him to do so. Allow the Holy Spirit to help you in every area, especially when you read the Word. He dwells inside you and wants to teach you all the truth of the Word of God. Thank you Father for your Son Jesus Christ, and for the Holy Spirit. Thank you for loving us so much, that You have given us access to the Holy Spirit, and that He reveals to us fully what your Word says, and we can live in such joy and closeness with You and the Lord Jesus. We love You and thank you, in Jesus name. Amen!
