The Fullness in Christ - Part 4

As we finish this study, let's go to Galatians 5:24-25, where the Word says 'And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.' TPT says 'Keep in mind that we who belong to Jesus, the Anointed One, have already experienced crucifixion. For everything connected with our self-life was put to death on the cross and crucified with Messiah. We must live in the Holy Spirit and follow after him.' Did you see that? What does that look like? You will continue to bear fruit by abiding in the vine. Living in the Spirit means that you allow the Holy Spirit to direct every aspect, every detail of your life. The fruit of the Spirit is the evidence, or proof of a life that is totally committed unto the Lord Jesus Christ and being led by the Holy Spirit. This is walking in the fullness in Christ! Totally submitted, carrying out the will of the Father under the direction of the Holy Spirit. This is why the enemy has tried to shut the mouth of the Holy Spirit by a lot of denominations teaching that the Holy Spirit is not needed today. Show me in the Word where it says that! Why would Jesus teach in John 16:12-13 'I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever he hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.' Now, if the men who spent over 3 years with the Lord, gleaning from His teaching and observing the miracles that were performed; had to have the Holy Spirit come and help them finish the tasks that had been assigned. And, they were not able to learn any more from the Lord at that time, but needed the direction and teaching from the Holy Spirit; why on earth would we teach that He is not needed today? Bless God the Holy Spirit is needed today! We are talking about the fullness in Christ that dwells in us! We desperately need the Holy Spirit. Get in the Word and learn. Ask the Holy Spirit to direct you and pray according to Ephesians 1:17-21, and Ephesians 3:14-21, and also Colossians 1:9-14. These are prayers that the Holy Spirit gave to Paul to give to us. You can walk and operate in the fullness of Christ. You can know the love of Christ. You can operate under the authority of Christ. It's all about knowing who you are in Christ. Praise the Lord!
