Redemption Was the Plan of God

1 Peter 1:18-20 (AMPC) says 'You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold, but [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot. It is true that He was chosen and foreordained (destined and foreknown for it) before the foundation of the world, but He was brought out to public view (made manifest) in these last days (at the end of the times) for the sake of you.' God the Father knew that man would commit treason against Him, and yet He had a master plan to save and redeem His creation. Jesus was the "Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Revelation 13:8). Ephesians 1:3-5 (NLT) says 'All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.' God's wonderful plan of redemption was put into place because of the love he has for us. The love God has for us is so deep and longing that he gave his Son Jesus Christ to take our place, and to pay the full penalty for sin. Psalm 107:2 (NKJV) says 'Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.' We should be praising God for what He has done for us and thanking the Lord Jesus Christ for taking OUR place! He has taken the sting of death, and the penalty for our sins, and we can now fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and rejoice because we are now a member of the family of God! God the Father is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Jesus loves us as much as the Father and came willingly to die in our place. The blood of Jesus has redeemed us and it was all part of the plan of God.
