John 3:16 (AMPC) says 'For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.' When Adam sinned in the garden, mankind lost his relationship with God. Adam committed treason against God, and the penalty was death. We must understand, this was a spiritual death, which would result in eternal separation from God unless the penalty for sin was paid. Sinless man sinned, therefore, a sinless man had to pay the full price. Roman 3:10 says 'As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one.' This is why Jesus had to come. God so dearly loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, and Jesus came of His own free will. You see, love took action. Love is a choice, and God the Father and His Son Jesus chose us. Ephesians 2:4-5 (TPT) says 'But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace!' Praise the Lord! Psalm 107:1 says 'Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.' Thank you Jesus, for your willingness to come and pay the price for my sin. Thank you Jesus for your love and your sacrifice for my healing. Thank you Father for your love and mercy that has been shown to me, and that I am redeemed because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you Father, that according to your Word in Romans 5:8, you demonstrated your own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Thank you Jesus that we are now reconciled to the Father. Thank you Father that your love took action, and we now have fellowship with you and your Son the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus name. Amen.
