I Trust You Lord

Psalm 40:4-5 says 'Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works which you have done; and Your thoughts which are toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.' God has been so very good to me. I could tell you so many stories of how God has provided, watched over, and kept us secure in His hands. He has been faithful to His Word and His promises. He has amazed us and we can actually 'feel' His love and His presence. Did you know that He rejoices over you with singing? The Word tells us this in Zephaniah 3:17, which says 'The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His life, He will rejoice over you with singing.' Isn't that wonderful? The creator of life rejoices over you with singing! He rejoices over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His life, and then sings over you. That is powerful! You can trust the Lord. It's not based on what it looks like or how you feel. Our little peanut feelings have nothing to do with the Word of the Eternal God! His Word is truth! His Word is life! His Word has the power to transform our thoughts, and change our very lives. He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, and whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). He has a purpose and a plan for your life, so you can put your trust in Him. Jesus loves you, and came to take your place. You can trust Him. You can trust God the Father who was willing to give us His Son. I cannot even begin to fathom what the Father went through by giving His Son to die in our place. Do you trust in the Lord? Trust Him. He has nothing but the best for you.
