I have been Crucified with Christ

Galatians 2:20 (TPT) says 'My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me - we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life in mine!' The old sinful nature has been crucified, and the reborn human spirit has been raised with Jesus Christ! We are no longer bound by sin, but have been set free from the bondage of sin through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Romans 6:6 (TPT) says 'Could it be any clearer that our former identity is now and forever deprived of its power? For we were co-crucified with him to dismantle the stronghold of sin within us, so that we would not continue to live one moment longer submitted to sin's power.' Once you accept Jesus as your savior and make Him Lord of your life, the old man has been put to death, and you are made a brand new creature in Christ Jesus. All sin has been washed away, and you stand before God the Father as pure, washed in the precious blood of Christ. But you have to renew your mind to the Word of God to change the old man's way of thinking. Your spirit has been reborn, but not your mind. It has to line up with your reborn spirit, and that will only happen by reading the Word of God regularly. Romans 6:10-11 (TPT) says 'For by his sacrifice he died to sin's power once and for all, but he now lives continuously for the Father's pleasure. So let it be the same way with you! Since you are now joined with him, you must continually view yourselves as dead and unresponsive to sin's appeal while living daily for God's pleasure in union with Jesus, the Anointed One.' Praise God, Jesus now lives in me, and I in Him, because I have been crucified with Christ!
