Mark 11:22-24 (TPT) says 'Jesus replied, "Let the faith of God be in you! Listen to the truth I speak to you: if someone says to this mountain with great faith and having no doubt, 'Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,' and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer - be convinced that you have received it and it will be yours." Jesus said in Mark 9:23 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Faith is knowing that the promises of God are ours. Faith takes what the Word says and applies it to every day life. Faith is an action word and will have corresponding action. You have heard me say many times before that your actions speak what you believe. What are your actions speaking? Do your actions line up with what you say, or do you have any actions at all? James 2:17 (TPT) says 'So then faith that doesn't involve action is phony.' Wow! Pretty straight forward, but then again, so is faith. It takes faith to be born again. It takes faith to receive healing which has already been paid for by the blood of Christ. It takes faith to obey the Word. It takes faith to please God, because in Hebrews 11:6, the Word says 'But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.' We MUST believe that He is. We MUST believe to receive the gift of salvation. We MUST believe! Jesus asked when the Son of man returns, will He find faith on the earth (Luke 18:8)? Do you believe? It takes faith to believe. I strongly suggest that you read Hebrews 11. It's a powerful chapter about faith and those who dared take God at His Word! I do, and there is nothing that will ever change my faith in Jesus! I know my Lord and I thank God the Father each day for sending His Son to take my place. Have faith in God. Use your faith. Ask the Lord how you could use your faith to please Him today. Romans 1:16-17 says 'For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.'
