We discussed yesterday that Christ has been seated at the right hand of God the Father; and He was seated far above all enemies, and every name that is named in this world and in the world to come. Now, let's look at where we are in this. Ephesians 2:6 says 'and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.' Did you catch that? We, as believers, are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We, spiritually speaking, are seated with Christ at the right hand of Almighty God! We are seated at the right hand of power in Christ! Do you now see why Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 28:18 that 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth?' Are you starting to understand that the Holy Spirit of Almighty God dwells in us, and that we have been given the authority of Christ? Once you grasp this, nothing will be impossible! Luke 1:37 says 'For with God nothing will be impossible.' Mark 9:23 says 'Jesus said to him, "If you can believe all things are possible to him who believes." Mark 11:23-24 says 'For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.' Powerful words spoken by Jesus. We need to believe that what the Word says is truth. We need to be confessing what the Word says about who we are, what we have, and that we can do what it says we can do. It's that simple. If the Word says it, then that should settle it. It's the same faith to believe the Word over your healing as it was for your salvation. It's the same Word that says that all your needs are supplied by God's riches in glory by Christ Jesus. That same faith that received Jesus as savior is the same faith to take God at His Word about anything you will ever face. Numbers 23:19 says 'God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?' So, if Jesus said all authority had been given unto Him, and that He gave us this authority to operate in this world; then what is the problem? God's Word works! I have testimony after testimony of the goodness of God. It's all about believing, knowing the Word of God and acting upon it, and knowing who you are in Christ and operating from that position of authority. I'm going to hammer this in until you totally understand! Glory to God!
