Do you give your all at your job? Are you committed to the company you work for? Do you believe that your boss would say that you are a dedicated employee? Now, let's talk about your walk with the Lord. Are you committed to the Lord? Does the opinions of others effect how you act when they are around, or do you reflect the light of the Lord Jesus Christ to them? Are you more afraid of what they might say about you being a Christian than what the Lord might say? Does your actions show that you are a Christian? The walk of a Christian is the most scrutinized among people than any other topic. But does that effect your walk with the Lord? Jesus Christ is so dedicated to us that He gave His life for us. His life and righteousness was His gift to us. How we live that life and how dedicated we are to the Lord is our gift to Him. Isaiah 6:8 says 'Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me." Are we willing to be the one that the Lord is looking to send? This is a daily dedication, a crucifying of the flesh and we need to remain close to the Lord to be able to walk it out. Jesus will help you in each and every step. I know this by personal experience. Remember, the Word tells us that there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). Romans 8:13 says 'For it you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.' It's a choice. You either choose to live according to the Word of God, or you choose to make you own decisions based on either your desires, wants, or selfish ambition. 1 Corinthians 6:20 says 'For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.' We are not our own, and the Lord has our life all planned out; all we need to do is trust Him. I can say this because if you do not go to the Lord and seek His counsel, you are not living the most abundant, fulfilled life you could live. James 1:5 says 'If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.' Ask the Lord, and He will give it to you. He wants to give you wisdom so you can succeed in life. In this day and age, we definitely need the wisdom of God because it is more than evident it is not being sought! The church needs to arise and utilize the wisdom of God, seek His face in prayer, repent, and watch the Lord God Jehovah turn this mess around. He is dedicated to us and has shown us just how much. The question is; are we dedicated to Him?
